SPOKANE - The Cheney boys' basketball team remained winless in Greater Spokane League play last week following a pair of losses on the road.
Cheney fell to Mead, 71-35, Jan. 21 and Lewis and Clark, 61-42, Jan. 24.
Blackhawks had a slow start where they were outscored 48-19 by halftime by the Panthers. The eight points from Juleon Horyst were tops for Cheney.
It was a similar script Friday where Cheney trailed 16-7 after the first quarter and trimmed it to 31-20 at halftime. LC's 17-11 third quarter edge gave the Tigers an additional cushion, however.
