Spokane man gets 90-day sentence

Court delays postponed trial date

SPOKANE – A Spokane man convicted of second-degree murder has been sentenced to 90 days in jail for the Oct. 12, 2024, shooting death of William McCreight.

Johnathan Bryman was arrested on Nov. 7, 2024, after a warrant was issued, and his bail was set at $1 million. Prosecutors charged Bryman with intentionally causing McCreight’s death while armed with a firearm.

Court records show multiple hearings and a trial date rescheduled to Feb. 10, before Bryman accepted a plea deal that significantly reduced his sentence. He is also subject to strict release conditions following his jail time.
