The walkway from Sutton Hall toward the campus mall at Eastern Washington University was blanketed in fresh snow on the morning of Jan. 8. EWU flags lined the quiet path, undisturbed as the snowfall added about an inch of accumulation to the Cheney area. Students and staff navigating the campus were greeted by a peaceful winter landscape before the day’s activities began.
