The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 24-017 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council on the 17th day of December 2024:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON, AMENDING SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 17.80 RELATED TO LOCAL PROJECT PERMIT REVIEW AND PROCESSING, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO. The purpose of this Ordinance is to amend chapter 17.80 SVMC permit processing procedures to make the chapter consistent with changes to chapter 36.70B RCW Local Project Review resulting from the adoption of Senate Bill 5290. Section 1 speaks to the purpose to amend portion of SVMC Chapter 17.80. Section 2 states the findings and conclusions. Section 3 states amendment of SVMC Chapter 17.80. Section 4 states all other sections remain unchanged. Section 5 speaks to severability and Section 6 provides for an effective date.
