CHENEY – Tony Blount, Veterans of Foreign Wars Cheney Post 11326, was recognized as one of Eastern Washington University's Hometown Heroes during the first quarter of their football game on Saturday afternoon on Roos Field.
Each individual was recognized and honored for their service and contributions to the community.
These honorees included military members, first responders, and veterans. Eastern highlighted their sacrifices and dedication of these local heroes in protecting and serving their communities.
