Notice of Application to Change the place of use, add two points of withdrawal, and add irrigated acres under G3-*01577.
TAKE NOTICE: That on September 23, 2024, Mallory Prairie Farm Estates LLC of Moses Lake, Washington, filed application number SPOK-24-01 with the Spokane County Water Conservancy Board to change the place of use, point of withdrawals and add irrigated acres under G3-*01577.
That said right, under priority date of July 3, 1950, authorizes the withdrawal of 200 gallons per minute and 160 acre feet per year from a well located within the NW¼SE¼ of Section 10, T. 23 N., R. 40 E.W.M. That said right authorizes water to be used for domestic supply and the irrigation of 40 acres for an unspecified period of use, within the NW¼ of Section 11, NE¼ and S½ of Section 10, and N½ of Section 15, all within T. 23 N., R. 40 E.W.M.
That the applicant proposes to change the place of use to the NE¼, SE¼, SW¼SW¼ , SE¼SW¼, and the NE¼SW¼ of Section 10 and the E½E½ of Section 3 and the S½ of Section 2; and add two points of withdrawals located within the NE¼SE¼ of Section 3 and the SE¼NE¼ of Section 10; and increase the irrigated area to 399 acres; all within T. 23 N., R. 40 E.W.M. Spokane County, Washington.
Any protests or objections to the approval of this application may be filed with the Department of Ecology and must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections; protests must be accompanied by a fifty dollar ($50) recording fee and filed with the Department of Ecology Cashiering Unit, P.O. Box 47611, Olympia, WA 98504-7611 within thirty (30) days from November 28, 2024.Any interested party may submit comments, objections, and other information to the board regarding this application. The comments and information may be submitted in writing or verbally at any public meeting of the board held to discuss or decide on the application. This application will be on the board agenda during its regular meetings to be held on the fourth Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m. and at subsequent scheduled meetings thereafter until the Board renders a decision on the application.
Additionally, the Water Conservancy Board, may receive written comments or information through 30 days after November 28, 2024, at its offices located at Spokane County Water District No. 3 C/O SCWCB 1225 N Yardley Rd, Spokane, WA 99212.
