ON-CALL WINTER SNOW OPERATORS

Notice is hereby given that the City of Spokane Valley, Spokane County, Washington will accept

sealed bids for Winter Snow Operators. The work consists of snow removal and deicing application as

directed by the City using City owned equipment and materials at the City Street Maintenance Facility.

The initial contract will continue through the end of the 2024-2025 snow season. Upon mutual

party approval, the City may amend the contract for up (3) three additional one-year contract

terms.

The City may also, at its discretion, contract with one or more contractors for the services provided

under this request

Bids must be submitted electronically in PDF format only, received not later than 4:00 p.m. (local

time), Friday, November 22, 2024, to:

There will not be a public bid opening, but the bid results tabulation will be sent electronically to all bidders

shortly after receipt. After contract award, the quotations will be open to public inspection and available

upon electronic request.

The City of Spokane Valley reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities and to reject any

or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the time announced for the bid opening, or before the

award and execution of the contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days.

The City of Spokane Valley, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964

(78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will

affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business

enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will

not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.

The City of Spokane Valley in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504) and the
