Aging and Long Term Care of Eastern Washington
The City of Spokane Valley seeks one resident to serve as a Spokane Valley representative on the Aging and Long Term Care of Eastern Washington Council. This social service agency helps older adults and people living with disabilities, stay in their homes. The mission of the agency is to promote well-being, independence, dignity and choice for older people needing long term care. The Council members collaborate with staff in planning and program development, they provide oversight, and advocate for those with the greatest social, economic and health needs. Regular meetings of the Council are held at the Agency Office, 1313 N Atlantic St., Ste 3000 in Spokane, on the 4th Friday of the month. The term of service for this appointment is three years.
