CHENEY — Cheney made the most of having just one allocation to the girls 3A state meet winning eight events.
Two Blackhawks each qualified for a pair of events.
O’Dell went solo from here team duties to collect victories in the 100 Butterfly in 59.74 and then clocked a 1:01.64 in the 100 backstroke.
Lauren Howe qualified in a pair of events. Her win in a time of 24:54 in the 50 Freestyle and a 54.51 in the 200 Freestyle.
Madi Bauman’s 2:01.60 earned her a spot in the 200 Freestyle.
In team efforts, the 200 Medley Relay went to Jezelle Schmidt, Acacia O’Dell, Joyalise O’Dell and Bethany Bleam qualified in a time of 1 minute, 56.72 seconds.
Bauman, Howe, Bleam and Sage Schaefer won the 200 Free Relay in a time of 1:45.41 while Joyalise O’Dell, Acacia O’Dell, Bauman and Howe won the 400 Freestyle Relay in 3:49.66.
State championships take place Nov. 14 to 16 at the King County Aquatics Center.
