Burn ban ends on Oct. 25

SPOKANE COUNTY – County officials announced that the burn restrictions put in place on July 2 will be lifted as of 12:01 am on Friday, Oct. 25. This will allow outdoor recreational fires, including campfires, to resume throughout unincorporated Spokane County and the cities of Spokane and Spokane Valley.

Once the ban is lifted, residents may resume outdoor recreational fires, including campfires, in accordance with local regulations. Backyard barbecues, chimneys, portable fireplaces, fire pits, and patio heaters will also be allowed. Only approved fuels are allowed, so residents should review any additional requirements before starting a fire.
