Medical Lake celebrates homecoming

MEDICAL LAKE – Despite the chilly October night, Medical Lake's Homecoming game on Friday, Oct. 18, was filled with school spirit and smiling faces. The halftime show brought the crowd to life, with Homecoming royalty, performances, and a unique Candyland theme adding to the atmosphere.

Senior King Tysan Newman and Queen Madison Spring were crowned in front of a cheering audience, while classic cars chauffeured the Homecoming Court to and from the football field. Princesses and princes, including Freshman Joscelyn Haines and Junior Wyatt Phillips, were honored during the halftime coronation.

While the Cardinals faced a tough loss to the Cascade Kodiaks, 42-14, the focus of the night was the Homecoming celebration. With musical performances, cheer routines, and a saber salute, the halftime festivities made the night one to remember for Medical Lake students and fans alike.
