Library events for adults and all ages

SPOKANE VALLEY – The following events will be happening at the Spokane Valley Library from Oct. 23-25:

CHAS mobile clinic coming to Spokane Valley

CHAS Health is bringing their mobile clinic to the library this Friday. The services they provide will include medication refills, wound care, treatment for acute injuries and illnesses, referrals for primary care and specialists, lab draws, and flu & COVID vaccinations.

• When: Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

• Where: Diane E. Zahand Meeting Room West, Spokane Valley Library

• Audience: All Ages

Spokane Is Reading Presents "Perma Red"

The library is inviting participants to join them for a community-wide read featuring Debra Magpie Earling’s acclaimed novel Perma Red, recognized by The Atlantic Monthly as one of “The Great American Novels.” Earling will read excerpts and engage with the audience about the novel's themes, the writing process, and more. Copies of Perma Red will be available for purchase from Auntie’s Bookstore, and the author will sign copies.

• When: Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

• Where: Diane E. Zahand Community Room (Combined East & West), Spokane Valley Library

• Audience: Adults (18+), Teens (13–18)
