Spooky story-time at Cheney Library

CHENEY – Bring your children to a fun, non-scary storytime where costumes are encouraged. Kids will enjoy slightly spooky stories, crafts, and activities designed for younger audiences.

• When: Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

• Audience: Pre-K–3rd grade, Families

Wonder Wednesdays at Medical Lake Library

MEDICAL LAKE – Drop by every Wednesday for new discoveries at the library. Participants will explore art, engineering, coding, and more in hands-on activities designed to inspire creativity and learning.

• When: Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Preschool story fun in Airway Heights

AIRWAY HEIGHTS – Designed for ages 2 to 5, this session includes reading picture books, singing, and hands-on learning through activities. The first 30 minutes involve songs, books, and fingerplays, followed by activity time to explore math, science, and literacy concepts.

• When: Thursday, Oct. 24 from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

• Audience: Early Learners (2-5), Families
