Ballots sent for General Election

Contact Elections Office for ballots

SPOKANE COUNTY – The Spokane County Elections Office announced they have mailed more than 360,000 ballots last Thursday and Friday, Oct. 10 and 11, for the upcoming General Election on Nov. 5.

If voters haven’t received their ballot by Friday, Oct. 18, the Elections Office urges them to call them at (509) 477-2320 to get a replacement.

This week, both the Local Voters’ Pamphlet and the State Voters’ Pamphlet will also be sent to all residences in Spokane County.

If someone needs to register to vote or update their voter registration information, the deadline is Monday, Oct. 28, for online registration at http://www.votewa.gov. In-person registration is available until Election Day on Nov. 5.

Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5. Voters are advised to check USPS pickup times to ensure timely mailing.

If voters miss final pickup, they should use one of the county’s ballot drop boxes, which are located at city and county libraries, STA Plaza, Town Halls, and the Elections Office at 1033 West Gardener. These drop boxes close at 8 pm sharp on Election Day.
