Rhiannon R. Carson was arrested for driving a vehicle under the influence of drugs on the 12000 block of West Highway 2.

Miguel A. Arreola was arrested for assault in the first (domestic violence), felony harassment involving a weapon, unlawful possession of firearms in the second, and possession of a stolen firearm on the 1600 block of South Deer Heights Road.

Thomas P. Merten was arrested for possession of stolen property in the third off of 10700 block West Highway 2.

A domestic violence incident was reported on the 700 block of Quail Dr. Probable cause was not established and no enforcement was taken.

Sept. 24

An assault was reported on the 300 block of Erie. Probable cause was not established.

Sept. 25

Two assaults were reported on the 200 block of College Ave. The suspect has been identified and charges are being pursued.

Shoplifting, theft in the second degree, was reported on the 2700 block of First St. Four subjects took two shopping carts full of merchandise estimated to be well in excess of $700. This case is under investigation.

Sept. 26

Found property at 200 block of G St. Cellphone stored in Cheney Police Department’s property room.

Domestic violence reported at 2400 block of First St. Probable cause was not established

Sept. 27

DUI reported on the 400 block of First St. Justin Chapman, 24, was cited.

DUI reported on the 900 block of First St. Sevli Amaya, 21, was cited.

Domestic violence, assault in the second degree reported on the 2800 block of Al Ogdon Wy. Case forwarded for further investigation.

Sept. 28

A traffic stop for expired tabs (07/2022) on the 1500 block of First Street lead to the arrest of Shawn A. Titus, 49, for an outstanding warrant for robbery and a citation for providing false information to the officer.

Neighborhood dispute reported on the 200 block of Cheney Spangle Rd. No enforcement was taken.

Domestic violence incident reported on the 200 block of Second St. Probable cause was not established.

Domestic violence incident, assault in the fourth degree, reported on the 200 block of College St. Multiple people were reportedly fighting during a house party near the location. The suspects have not yet been identified.

DUI reported on First and G Street, on railroad property. Javier Miron, 23, cited and booked into the Spokane County Jail.

Domestic violence incident reported on the 200 block of Second St. Probable cause was not established.

Found property reported on the 800 block of Front St. Wallet is being held at the Cheney Police Department’s property room.

Sept. 29

Liquor violation, minor in possession, reported on 800 block of Washington. Cody Gilroy, 19, was cited.

Possible sexual assault reported on the 300 block of First St. This case is currently under investigation.

Domestic violence incident reported on the 300 block of Cocolalla. Probable cause was not established.

Nuisance, urinating in public, reported on the 700 block of Sixth St. Joseph M. Vosahlo, 27, was cited.

Sept. 23

Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 900 block of Elm St. No crime was committed.

Vehicle theft – taking a motor vehicle without permission, was reported on the 1100 block of Washington St. It was labeled unfounded, and no crime was committed.

Lewd conduct was reported on the 500 block of Quad Ln.

Sept. 25

Fraud reported on the 600 block of W. Seventh St. Marketplace fraud was determined.

Domestic violence reported on the 1000 blok of Cedar St. Three students were referred to SRR for an argument.
