CITY OF MEDICAL LAKE

Sealed bids for: LAKE ST. ADA UPGRADES - 2025

Will be received by The City of Medical Lake at the City’s Maintenance Bldg. at 851 S. Lefevre St. until 2:00 p.m., October 24, 2024, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud. One Contract is proposed for the entire work.

The proposed work includes:

The removal of existing pavement and concrete, curb and curb & gutter, along with the installation of new curb and curb & gutter, curb ramps, driveway entrances, and adjacent sidewalk. Also included is various pavement and concrete repair, sod repair, signage, traffic control and various other incidentals.

The project information, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Specifications and Forms of Bid Bond, and other Contract Documents, are available at http://www.ehengineeringplans.com. Bidders may download the digital files at no cost. Printed documents are available, at bidders’ expense, by choosing the “Order” option or copies may also be obtained at E&H Engineering, Inc. for a $150.00 non-refundable fee.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent of the amount of such proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the Specifications, the bid security shall be forfeited to the Owner.

No Bidder may withdraw their bid within thirty days of the actual date of the opening thereof.

The City of Medical Lake, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
