LIBERTY LAKE – A two-vehicle collision on Interstate 90, about a mile east of Liberty Lake, sent two people to the hospital Saturday morning, according to Washington State Patrol.

The crash occurred around 10:30 am, when a Nissan Titan, driven by Marvin Rogers, 54, of Plummer, Idaho, struck the rear of a motorcycle. The motorcycle rider, identified as Andrew Snow, 32, of Spokane, was ejected and landed in the left lane of the interstate. Both vehicles ended up in the median.

Rogers and Snow were transported to Sacred Heart Hospital with injuries. Rogers was reportedly wearing a seatbelt, while Snow was wearing a USDOT-compliant helmet.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and no charges have been filed at this time. Drugs and alcohol were not involved.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Snow’s motorcycle was totaled, while Rogers’ truck sustained reportable damage.
