ML soccer uncertain due to low numbers

MEDICAL LAKE – Low turnout with numbers below even the minimum needed to field a team continue to haunt Medical Lake girls’ soccer.

Prior to the season, head coach Dan Collins originally anticipated sufficient numbers but those vanished. Currently he reports just six eligible players, so Collins said he’s not sure about the season.

Medical Lake reportedly attempted to co-op with another 2B school, but WIAA rules would have put them into a 2A enrollment category, defeating the exercise.
