Injuries were inflicted
The black Kia Forte which struck the silver Chevrolet Trailblazer on Salnave and Washington Roads.
CHENEY – A vehicle struck another vehicle in the intersection of Salnave Road and Washington Street Friday afternoon.
City and Campus police responded to a two-car accident at the intersection of Salnave Road and Washington Street, today around 12:45 p.m.
A young adult woman driving southbound on Washington Road in a black Kia Forte struck a silver Chevrolet Trailblazer driving eastbound on Salnave Road by an elderly woman.
The police arrived first on the scene as they assessed the potential injuries to both parties. The city fire department and emergency medical team arrived a few minutes afterward.
The medical team went to the person in the Trailblazer first as they noticed she was in pain with their gear in hand to address her potential injuries. She was complaining of neck and back pain while in her vehicle.
The woman driving on Washington was cited with failure to stop.
