Lead Agency: City of Spokane Valley Economic Development Department
Determination: Pursuant to Title 21 (Environmental Controls) of the Spokane Valley Municipal Code, the lead agency has determined that this proposal does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision was made after review of the completed environmental checklist, the application, Spokane Valley Municipal Code Titles 19, 21 and 22, site assessment, and comments from the public and affected agencies. This information is available to the public on request.
This DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2); the lead agency will not act on his proposal for 14 days from the date issued. Comments must be received between August 30, 2024 (the date of this notice) and 5:00 p.m. on September 13, 2024 (14 days from the date of this notice).

Appeal: An appeal of this determination shall be submitted to the Economic Development Department within fourteen (14) calendar days after the date issued. The appeal must be written and make specific factual objections to the City’s threshold determination. Appeals shall be conducted in conformance with Section 17.90 (Appeals) of the Spokane Valley Municipal Code, and any required fees pursuant to the City’s adopted Fee Schedule shall be paid at time of appeal submittal. Pursuant to SVMC 21.20.150, appeals shall be limited to a review of a final threshold determination.
