City of Spokane Valley

Periodic Update to its Comprehensive Plan and Development Regulations

The City of Spokane Valley seeks consultant services to conduct and carry out work as required by the Growth Management Act (GMA). The work is expected to include required updates to the comprehensive plan and development regulations, updates related to climate element, and public engagement.

The RFQ can be found on the City’s website at http://www.spokanevalleywa.gov/359/Public-Notices under Public Notices.  

Deadline for submittals is 4:00 PM (local time), Friday, September 27, 2024.  Submittals received after this time will not be accepted. Any firm responding to the RFQ should deliver three print copies and one electronic copy (pdf) of its proposal to the City of Spokane Valley, attn Mike Basinger, Economic and Planning Director, 10210 E. Sprague Avenue, Spokane Valley, Washington 99206-5444. For more information, please call Mike Basinger at (509) 720-5331. 

The City reserves the right to change the RFQ schedule or issue addenda to the RFQ at any time. All such addenda or modifications will become part of the RFQ. The City will provide notification of addenda or modifications by posting the addenda on the City’s website at http://www.spokanevalleywa.gov/359/Public-Notices.

The City, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, including the Department of the Treasury’s Title VI regulations, 31 CFR Part 22 and other pertinent executive orders such as Executive Order 13166, directives, circulars, policies, memoranda, and/or guidance documents, hereby notifies all entities that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises and all others will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), disability, age, or sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity) in consideration for an award.
