CHENEY – Eastern Washington University’s volleyball team has set a high academic standard this past season by earning the American Volleyball Coaches’ Association (AVCA) 2024 Team Academic Award.
This academic award recognizes the Eagles for achieving a team GPA that ranks in the top 20% of Division I programs, earning them a spot on the AVCA Honor Roll.
To qualify for the Team Academic Award, a program must maintain a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.3 for the entire academic year. Eastern surpassed this benchmark with an outstanding cumulative GPA of 3.75 for the 2023-24 year.
