General Notice

Vera Water and Power (Owner) is requesting Bids for construction of the 4MG, 1MG and 750KG Reservoir Recoating Project. Bids for construction of the Project will be received by the Owner via online submission only, until 2:00 PM, Friday, August 9, 2024 local time. Bids will be opened and read aloud virtually via the following link:

A bid summary will be issued after opening, emailed to all bidders and posted on the website.

The Project generally consists of recoating the interior and exterior of Vera’s 4MG and 1MG reservoirs, recoating the interior and overcoating the exterior of Vera’s 750KG reservoir. The Project includes removal of an existing interior coal tar coating (4MG and 1MG reservoirs). The Project also includes the addition of operation and maintenance improvements related to safety railings, ladders, electrical power and lighting as well as some structural repairs to the 750KG reservoir.

To Bid the project, Bidder shall download a full set of the BIDDING DOCUMENTS from http://www.varelaplanroom.com under “Public Jobs” and shall be on the Plan Holders List. Bids shall be submitted electronically via the Varela Plan Room website and in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Additional bid acceptance and contract award provisions are specified in the Contract Documents. Vera Water and Power retains the right to reject any and all bids.

This project is funded through the Washington State Public Works Board program with state funds.
