Valley Titans sweep Summer Hawk

CHENEY – The Summer Hawks faced off twice last week against the Spokane Valley Titans who won both times.

A pair of three-run innings in both the third and fifth innings allowed the Spokane Valley Titans to erase an early 2-0 Cheney Summer Hawks lead enroute to a 9-4 win, July 2 in Cheney.

In a return match in Spokane, July 8, Spokane scored its only runs in the bottom of the fifth for a 2-0 victory.

T.J. Weindeman pitched to all but one batter in the seven-inning game.
