Drug bust follows overdose calls
AIRWAY HEIGHTS – Police have released the names of individuals arrested during a June 26 drug bust here.
Nine were arrested on outstanding warrants at 591 S. Easy St.
Arrestees are:
• Tyler J. Holmes (warrant)
• Ryan T. Thomas (DOC warrant)
• William Orvalla (warrant, refused by SCJ)
• Michael D. Ramirez Jr. (warrant, OR-SCJ)
• Gessi K. Duvall (warrant, OR-SCJ)
• Kaylee B. Stanz (Fugitive Felony, slip; probable cause affidavit needed within 48 hours)
• Brooke N. D. Benton (warrant, OR-SCJ)
• Tiffany L. D. Croney (two warrants, OR-SCJ)
• Melonie H. Jonston (warrant)
The arrests stem from a search warrant being executed at a building suspected of being used for drug-related activities.
On June 26, following two suspected overdose deaths, officers and detectives launched an investigation in collaboration with the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
With support from the state Department of Corrections Probation Department, Airway Heights Police and Spokane County deputies executed the search warrant.
More than 30 individuals were found at the property, engaged in various criminal activities.
In addition to the arrests, numerous individuals at the property were interviewed and offered services for substance abuse disorders.
