NOTICE OF ORDINANCE PASSED

The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 303 passed by the City of Liberty Lake City Council on June 18, 2024.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LIBERTY LAKE, WASHINGTON, SUSPENDING THE ACCEPTANCE OF ANNUAL APPLICATIONS FOR AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY’S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND DEVELOPMENT CODE UNTIL THE COMPLETION OF THE CITY’S 2026 PERIODIC COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE, AND DEFERRING AND SUSPENDING THE PROCESSING OF APPLICATIONS WHICH CANNOT BE COMPLETED BEFORE DECEMBER 31, 2024, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

Section 1 suspends the acceptance and processing of annual Comprehensive Plan and Development Code amendments.

Section 2 defers pending 2024 annual amendment proposals which cannot be processed by December 31, 2024.

Section 3 declares an emergency and provides for an effective date.
