NOTICE OF ORDINANCE PASSED BY MEDICAL LAKE CITY COUNCIL

The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 1115 passed by the City of Medical Lake City Council on June 18, 2024.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MEDICAL LAKE, WASHINGTON RELATING TO TITLE 16, ADDING CHAPTER 16.03 – ZONING PERMITS AND TITLE 17, AMENDING CHAPTERS 17.08, 17.39, 17.42, REGARDING SHIPPING CONTAINERS, OF THE MEDICAL LAKE MUNICIPAL CODE.

Section 1 Amendment adding to the MLMC, Chapter 16.03 – Zoning Permits

Section 2 Amendment adding to the MLMC Chapter 17.08 - Definitions

Section 3 Amendment to Section 17.39.015 – Signs of the MLMC adding (e.1) “Logo” definition.

Section 4 Amendment to Section 17.42.030 of the MLMC - Storage Containers

Section 5 Ratifies and affirms any acts consistent with the authority and before the effective date of this Ordinance.

Section 6 Establishes a severability clause in the event some portion of the Ordinance is held invalid.

Section 7 States this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after publication of this Ordinance or a summary thereof in the official newspaper of the City as provided by law.
