TEKOA — The annual Slippery Gulch celebration is set for Saturday, June 15.
The event includes a parade, vendors, fishing derby, photo contest and more. The highlight of the festival is an egg-toss competition, where teams compete to see who can throw and catch an egg the furthest, without it breaking. Often, the winning team reaches a distance of a half-city block.
This year’s parade features the Par-Tee Time community float, with Princesses Denali Chase and Claire Wilkins; and Miss Tekoa Lulu Taylor....
