Families, friends and colleagues gathered Monday, May 27, for a Memorial Day observance at Washington State Veteran's Cemetary in Medical Lake. The ceremony included a bagpiper playing Taps, above, an Honor Guard, right, and guest speakers talking about the sacrifice of Americans who gave their lives while serving in the armed forces.
