Woman arrested for drug possession

SPOKANE VALLEY — A woman dropping a sock containing alleged illegal narcotics was arrested by deputies April 16.

Tiarra A. Pedrazza, 34, was booked into the Spokane County Jail on two counts of knowingly possessing a controlled Substance and a felony warrant for second-degree burglary. She remained in jail on additional, unrelated charges of theft and violation of a domestic violence protection order.

Records show her bond was set at $7,750.

Pedrazza was arrested at about 10:40 p.m. after deputies responded to a call of suspicious individuals in a business parking lot in the 900 block of North Sullivan Road.

There, deputies encountered Pedrazza and a man, records show. They determined Pedrazza, who had given them an alias, had a warrant for her arrest on second-degree burglary.

While a deputy was walking her to a patrol car, she dropped a gray sock on the ground; it contained blue pills and suspected methamphetamine, records show.

Pedrazza told the deputy the sock was on the ground and she only stepped on it, records show. But he confirmed through video footage that it hadn’t been there.

The sock allegedly contained 63 blue fentanyl pills, two plastic baggies of suspected methamphetamine and two silicone containers with fentanyl, records show.

The man was released without charge, records show.
