Sen. Padden won't seek re-election

SPOKANE VALLEY - Sen. Mike Padden announced Wednesday, April 3, that he won't seek re-election.

Padden has served as the 4th Legislative District senator since 2011.

"It has been a tremendous honor and privilege to serve our 4th District in the state Senate these past dozen years," Padden, R-Spokane Valley, said. "After much thought and discussion with my wife, Laura, I have decided it is time to retire from office.
