Still hope for a white Christmas

CHENEY -- The National Weather Service says there is still hope for a white Christmas..

There isn’t any winter storm in the forecast.

But there is a 40% change of snow and a 40% chance of rain Friday.

Overnight Friday night, the possibility of snow increases to 60% as the temperature drops to upper 20s.

“Rain and snow likely, becoming all snow after 11 p.m.,” the forecast for Friday night said. “New snow accumulation of less than a half-inch possible.”

The chance of snow declines to 30% Saturday afternoon and slides to just 20% by Christmas night, Monday, Dec. 25....
