City Hosts housing and homelessness open house

SPOKANE VALLEY – The City of Spokane Valley extends a cordial invitation to the community to attend an open house event aimed at elucidating the city’s housing and homelessness program and fostering a deeper understanding of the collaborative efforts with community partners assisting individuals and families in attaining stability.

Attendees will have the unique opportunity to engage with representatives from key entities, including the City, Police Department, and various community organizations supported by the City. This event offers a platform for participants to pose inquiries, articulate perspectives, and gain insights into the city’s comprehensive initiatives directed towards alleviating homelessness.

Notable participants encompass the City of Spokane Valley, Spokane Valley Police Department, Family Promise of Spokane, Habitat for Humanity, Reclaim Project, Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners (SNAP), Spokane Valley Partners, and Volunteers of America.

Scheduled from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, December 11, the open house will take place at the CenterPlace Regional Event Center, situated at 2426 N. Discovery Pl., Spokane Valley.
