Detectives recover large amounts of illegal drugs and cash

SPOKANE VALLEY - Primary suspect Ryan J. Lund, 41, was booked into the Spokane County Jail on multiple felony drug charges on Oct. 24.

Patrol deputies, the investigators and the S.W.A.T. team arrested Lund near E. Trent Ave and N. Pines Road. He was served a search warrant to find additional drugs.

Lund had been a primary suspect to an ongoing drug investigation by law enforcement. During the investigation information indicated Lund was selling blue pills suspected to contain Fentanyl. He was also suspected of selling methamphetamine, heroin, and possibly other illegal drugs.

Investigators noted that some of the illegal drug sales occurred with 650’-850’ within a school perimeter, causing a sentencing enhancement to be added.

Detectives seized approximately, 9.33lbs of methamphetamine, 8,578 suspected fentanyl pills, 59.3g suspected fentanyl. 56.1g heroin, 4+ Xanax pills, 1 cell phone, and 2 laptops. 41.6g psilocybin mushroom, and $3,760.

Detectives recommended felony charges of possession of a controlled substance with Intent manufacture/deliver (2 counts). An enhancement for a violation for sale in a protected school zone (2 counts). Six additional charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent manufacture/deliver.

This investigation continues and additional charges and arrest are possible.
