James Phelps

James (Jim) Phelps passed away peacefully at Cheney Care Center on Oct. 15, 2023 at the age of 79.

He grew up in Jennings, Louisiana. He was predeceased by Herman and Amy Laidlaw Phelps. Survived by wife of 43 years Karen and by his sister Mrytle Garrett, and her family, Dale Garrett and Sheri McLain and other nieces and nephews in Louisiana, and niece Verona Doyle and her family CJ and Jason Doyle and other nieces and nephews in Alaska and Oregon.
