Hot meals resume in Medical Lake

MEDICAL LAKE – Feed Medical Lake will resume offering hot meals on Monday, Oct. 9.

Meals are served at 5 p.m. the second Monday of each month at 223 S. Hallett St., spokeswoman Joanna Williams said. The organization offers lunch and groceries on the fourth Monday.

Mennonite auction set for Oct. 7

RITZVILLE – The Mennonite Country Auction is set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at Menno Mennonite Church, 1378 N. Damon Road.

Amish cheese, homemade ice-cream, pies and baked goods, quilts, hand-pressed apple cider and apple butter made in a copper kettle over an open fire on site will also be available.
