Morgan, Pattison score to give Eastern tie vs. Huskies
SEATTLE — Although it’s only an exhibition, Eastern Washington women’s soccer looks poised for a successful 2023 season. The Eagles traveled to play Washington on their home pitch and walked away with a 2-2 draw against the Huskies.
“Today was a great early-season opportunity to see where we are as a team against a talented, well-coached opponent in this first exhibition match,” head coach Missy Strasburg said.
Eastern used goals from 2022 Big Sky Co-Offensive Player of the Year Maddie Morgan and sophomore Chloe Pattison to leave Seattle with the draw.
Eastern will be on their home pitch this Thursday (Aug. 10) to play Trinity Western in the team’s final exhibition and open the regular season on Aug. 17 against Washington State in Pullman.
