1. The state has mandated the sexual education curriculum and resources needed to implement the learning, growth, and comprehension of the material. As educators we are a listening ear and educate our students on the information at hand. As parents, we can support the learning within the classroom setting. However, each parent/guardian has the right and choice to opt out of this.

2. I do support social and emotional learning in the classroom. Students are faced with challenges that many of us never had to face and the constant pressures of social media can be difficult for many students to maneuver through. Allowing time to be heard, a time to reflect, and a time to listen is a great outlet for students to redirect their thoughts and learn new avenues to deal with struggles or challenges they are facing.

3.  I would support my school district in what they need and work closely in any future decisions and challenges we could foresee in the future. I would look at what is best for our students, and be an advocate and listening ear to our amazing community, and dedicated staff.
