1.) In your opinion, is the current Council managing the affairs of the city efficiently? Why or why not?
More or less with the terrible laws emanating from Olympia. The City Council is a mixed lot. The handling of COVID by our state was an unnecessary disaster and it can't happen again. Traffic is getting worse and the influx of transients with mental health and/or addiction challenges is causing threats to public safety.
2.) What is the biggest issue facing the City of Spokane Valley?
Urban sprawl from the City of Spokane and a growing lack of civic spirit. Seattle is dying, Spokane is right behind, and this malaise is spreading to the City of Spokane Valley.
