Bigfoot forum coming to Spokane Valley

SPOKANE VALLEY -- Bigfoot researchers will be here June 17 for the third annual Sasquatch Roundup to share evidence, stories and encounters.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Spokane Valley Event Center, There is a fee to attend the event.

Jeff Meldrum will be the keynote speaker.

A professor of anatomy and anthropology at Idaho State University, the bigfoot researcher focuses on the evolution of hominin bipedalism. He is the author of several books and publication on the matter including “Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science.”

Other speakers include Ken Gerhard, Cliff Barackman, Michael Thompson, Michael Freeman and Charles Howard Johnson.

A cryptozoologist, Gerhard who has authored several books, including “The Essential Guide to Bigfoot,” “Monsters of Texas”, and “The Essential Guide to the Loch Ness Monster and other Aquatic Cryptids.”

North American Bigfoot Center found and researcher Barackman also present information. He’s known worldwide as the co-host of Animal Planet’s television show “Finding Bigfoot” and “Bigfoot and Beyond with Cliff and Bobo” podcast.

Thompson is an Alaskan cryptid researcher and founder of Sasquatchtracker.com. He’s considered one of the best sources of information on boreal sasquatch, giants, the Wildman and others in the northern Alaskan frontier.

Freeman is the son of the late bigfoot research pioneer Paul Freeman and author of “Freeman Bigfoot Files.” And Johnson is a paranormal investigator and founder of Anomalous Investigations of Spokane.

The event is being hosted by Extreme Expeditions Northwest, a local outdoor adventure company that specializes in bigfoot. The company has also produced a number of related documentaries.
