Governor appoints new EWU Board of Trustees member

CHENEY — The governor has appointed a new member to the Eastern Washington University Board of Trustees, who began officially on March 23.

Christine Johnson, PhD., is Chancellor Emeritus of the Community Colleges of Spokane 2010-22, has been a member of the Board of Trustees at Gonzaga University for 6 years and has accepted an additional 3-year term offer.

Johnson is filling out the second term vacated by Michael Finley, who stepped down from the Eastern board last fall for personal reasons.
