City council votes on Ptera resolution

CHENEY — The council voted unanimously to adopt Resolution F-141 at their regular meeting on April 11.

This resolution approves an assignment and assumption agreement in order to transfer the Dark Fiber Lease Agreement, signed in 2020 by Ptera, Inc., to Ziply Fiber Pacific, LLC.

The resolution itself gives background on the Dark Fiber Agreement which Ptera entered into with the city in March of 2020. That agreement required Ptera to provide certain telecommunications services to the city.
