Cheney Middle School hires new assistant principal

CHENEY — A counselor has been selected as a new assistant principle for Cheney Middle School pending the approval of the School Board.

Heather Zorrozua is scheduled to begin her new role in April after she completes her principal program at Eastern Washington University.

Zorrozua has been a counselor at the middle school for nine years. She has a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s degree in social work.
