Cheney Holiday Extravaganza Craft Fair
Dec. 3, 10a.m. to 4p.m.
Cheney High School’s annual holiday craft fair will be held at Cheney High School, 460 N 6th St. The event will include hosting over 110 vendor booths, pictures with Santa, and a customers’ gift baskets raffle.
Holiday Hoopla
Dec. 2, 5:30p.m. to 6:30p.m.
This event is a kick off event for the season. The start is at the Cheney library on December 2nd at 5:30-6:30. We will have letters to the care center, storybook reading, tree lighting, free hot cocoa, a proclamation from the mayor! We will have maps of our Christmas light tour and a calendar of all holiday events throughout the season such as (free cookie decorating at the mason jar, pictures with Santa at owl, decoration making etc) These will happen in the next few weeks…in addition it will be the start of elf on the shelf scavenger hunt (to stop in and shop local).
Cheney Nazarene’s “Make it & Take it” event
Dec. 4, 3p.m. to 5p.m.
Cheney Church of the Nazarene is hosting their annual “Make It & Take It” event at 338 W Betz Rd. The event will take place on Sunday December 4th. “Join us as we build & create a variety of items to gift to your friends, family, or keep for yourself. All are welcome to this free event, invite your friends!”
Medical Lake Christmas Market and Winter Fest
Dec. 10, 10a.m. to 4p.m.
The Medical Lake Christmas Market on Saturday, December 10 from 10am-4pm at the Medical Lake High School (200 E. Barker), and for our annual WinterFest. Their will be free activities for children “while supplies last” throughout the day.
Small Business Saturday
No. 26-Dec. 3
Cheney, Medical Lake, Deer Park, and Argonne libraries are participating this event. Visit any of the participating libraries to pick up a passport which you can use as you visit the “Shop Small” businesses across the west plains. You can procure a sticker from each business and return your completed passport to any library to be entered in to win a free gift.
