Vertie Brown Jr.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Vertie Brown Jr. at age 85, our beloved father, and beloved husband to his devoted wife, Barbara Sue Brown. He succumbed to a battle with lymphoma.

Vertie retired from law enforcement in 2003 after serving as the Clarkston, Wash. police chief. He devoted his life long career as a public servant to his community. He achieved the Executive Certification in law enforcement recognized by the WA State Criminal Justice Training Commission. His career spanned over 40 years.
