David "Hank" Tiffany

David "Hank" Tiffany passed away on Monday, Aug. 1st at the age of 61. Hank was born in Ames, Iowa to F. H. and Dr. Lois Tiffany.

After initially attending Western State College in Gunnison, Colo., he relocated to Cheney, Wash. and pursued degrees in mathematics and computer science.

Whether walking through town with his cane, striking up conversations, or even shoveling snow, Hank was a familiar presence in the community. He was an active member of St Paul's Episcopal Church and local science fiction/ fantasy groups. A lifelong scholar, he was passionate about a wide variety of topics, and greatly enjoyed connecting with other railroad enthusiasts.

A memorial service was held at St Paul's Episcopal Church Sunday, Aug. 7th. Hank is survived by his child, Andi Tiffany, and his sister, Jean Day, as well as many extended family and dear friends.

He is very loved, and will be greatly missed.
