CHENEY — The Police Department responded to the following calls for service from Aug. 1-7:

Aug. 1

Graffiti in park restroom in the 600 block of Fourth Street.

Wallet, debit card and drivers license stolen from the 2600 block of First Street.

Vape pen shoplifted and assault reported in the 2600 block of First Street.

Aug. 2

Scott M. Williams, 60, arrested for fourth-degree assault-domestic violence, in the 300 block of Erie Street.

Cell phone found and turned in turned in to the Police Department.

Leah J. Foster, 31, arrested for possession of a stolen 2007 GMC U-Haul box truck in the 100 block of West First Street.

Vehicle wheel damaged in the 0 block of Alki Street.

Safe with cash and jewelry, straw hat and Bluetooth adapter stolen in residential burglary in the 300 block of Simpson Parkway.

Online back fraud reported in the 700 block of West Fifth Street.

Aug. 3

Rape reported; location not reported.

David C. Rahnert, 45, arrested for attempted theft of a 2004 Volvo X70 in the 2300 block of Cheney-Spokane Road.

Boy, 14, ran away from home in the 700 block of West First Street. He was found Aug. 4 and returned home.

Aug. 4

Electric bicycle stolen in the 100 block of Washington Street.

Second-degree assault-domestic violence reported in the 900 block of Summit Drive.

Keychain and key found in the 600 block of Golden Hills Drive.

Verbal domestic dispute in the 1000 block of Betz Road.

Kayla L. Bell, 33, arrested for fourth-degree assault. Brandon J. Cool, 34, arrested for fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief in the 0 block of Alki Street. Derick C. Bell, 24, arrested for disorderly conduct. All three were involved in a dispute that was caught on video.

Domestic verbal dispute in the 800 block of West First Street.

Aug. 5

Ray D. Davidson, 32, arrested on two warrants in the 1500 block of First Street. He was wanted on a felony warrant from Spokane County Superior Court and two misdemeanor warrants from Cheney Municipal Court.

Possible arson started a brush fire in the 900 block of Oakland Street.

Aug. 6

Bicycle found in the 100 block of Washington Street.

Welfare check in the 2200 block of Hillside Drive.
