Christmas services on tap

CHENEY -- Several area churches are hosting special Christmas Eve and Christmas services this weekend.

Here is the list of churches and the services offered:

Airway Heights

 Airway Heights Baptist church, 12322 W. Sunset Highway, candlelight service, 6 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 24.

 The Heights Church, 12703 W. 14th Ave., Suite A, Christmas services at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, and 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve.

Cheney

 Saint Rose of Lima, 460 N. Fifth St. 4 p.m. Christmas Eve Children’s Mass on Friday, Dec. 24. Also on Christmas Eve, there will be a 6 p.m. Vigil mass. Christmas Day Mass is at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 25.

 Fellowship Baptist Church, 317 W. Second St., 6 p.m. candlelight Christmas Eve service on Friday, Dec. 24.

 Cheney Community Church, 1307 Third St., 5 p.m. Christmas Eve service on Friday, Dec. 24 from 5-6 p.m. There will be scripture reading, hymn singing and candle lighting.

 Emmanuel Luther, 639 Elm St., Christmas Eve service with Communion at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 24.

 Church of the Nazarene, 338 W. Betz Road, 5 p.m. Christmas Eve candlelight service, on Friday, Dec. 24.

 Cheney Faith Center, 300 N. Second St., 2 and 4 p.m. Christmas Eve services on Friday, Dec. 24.

Medical Lake

 Medical Lake Community Church, 203 N. Washington St., 6:30 p.m. candlelight Christmas Eve service, Dec. 24.

 St. Anne’s Parrish, 708 E. Lake St., 4 p.m. Christmas Eve Mass on Friday, Dec. 24, and 9 a.m. Christmas Day Mass on Saturday, Dec. 25.
