Two vehicle crash injures two

CHENEY – The colder weather approaching is leaving ice on the roads for early morning commuters, and on November 22 at 8:28 am 19-year-old Kennedy Peacock from Cheney was trying to turn her 2010 Subaru Outback right onto Spokane Street from 1st Street and slid on a patch of black ice crashing into a white 2013 Cadillac Escalade driven by 61-year-old Martin Pullman from Cheney according to the state collision report provided by Captain Nate Conley from the Cheney Police Department. Lori Pullman was also riding with Martin, and Kennedy had no passengers in her vehicle.

According to the state collision report Kennedy was traveling downhill on 1st and was unable to turn her car around the corner because it was sliding into the opposite lane. Kennedy was issued a citation for driving too fast for road conditions. Martin and Lori Pullman were alert and conscious at the scene but were transported to the hospital for unknown injuries.
