FOUR LAKES – One man was sent to the hospital with a possible life-threatening head injury following a Nov. 10 crash.
Local authorities didn’t provide the name, age and hometown by press time.
The driver was southbound on West Medical Lake-Four Lakes Road at about 7:30 a.m. in a Ford pickup at the time of the crash, police said. The vehicle slid off of the road and slammed into an embankment.
Transportation officials closed roads surrounding the intersection of West Medical Lake Four Lakes Road and South Granite Lake Road for nearly four hours as investigators examined the scene, officials said.
They used a drone to laser map the location and build a three-dimensional digital replication.
Responders said icy road conditions may have contributed to the crash.
Neither drugs nor alcohol are considered to have been factors in the crash, officials said.
